New Trailer for Django Unchained Loads up on the Gunplay and Jokes

Check out a new trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s bloody Western “Django Unchained”, which comes pretty hard with the gunplay and jokes this time around. And oh yeah, Jonah Hill too there towards the end. I suspect that was probably supposed to be a quick cameo that got people talking, but as with most trailers nowadays, they decided to give it away in the trailer. Leonardo DiCaprio’s Southern accent is still ridiculous, but then again, it’s not as if Tarantino would know the difference. Heck, it’s probably on purpose as far as I know. Anyways, get another dose of Django, won’t you? (The “D” is silent, in case you were wondering.)

Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award®-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award®-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles — dead or alive. Success leads Schultz to free Django, though the two men choose not to go their separate ways. Instead, Schultz seeks out the South’s most wanted criminals with Django by his side. Honing vital hunting skills, Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago.

Starring Jaime Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Walton Goggins, Don Johnson, RZA, Gerald McRaney, Anthony LaPaglia, James Russo, and M.C. Gainey. And oh yeah, Jonah Hill, too.

Shooting ’em up December 25, 2012.
