New TV Spot for David R. Ellis’ Shark Night 3D is Suitably Toothy

If you ask me, “Shark Night 3D” still looks like a SyFy original with a slightly bigger budget and 3D technology. Evil sharks menacing attractive people wearing as little as possible certainly sounds like a lot late-summer fun, but anyone who claims that the film is “Jaws for the 3D generation” is probably drinking box wine from an old boot. Now, I haven’t seen the film for myself, so it may very well be the spiritual successor to Steven Spielberg’s classic. However, I were you, I wouldn’t count it. To illustrate my point, take a gander at this TV spot for the upcoming horror flick, which opens on September 2nd, 2011 here in the US.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.
