“Zero Dark Thirty” looks like it should be pretty damn good. A big name cast, a tension-filled story that the public is hungry to hear, and the Academy Award winning director of “Point Break” (Kathryn Bigelow), creates one hell of a package.
Even though the more you watch this new trailer, the more you get the feeling that Jessica Chastain is somewhat out of place, it still makes “Zero Dark Thirty” seem like everything it should be. A tight, intricate thriller, the film tracks the team tracking the most notorious man in the world.
Here’s a synopsis:
For a decade, an elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, devoted themselves to a single goal: to find and eliminate Osama bin Laden. “Zero Dark Thirty” reunites the Oscar-winning team of director-producer Kathryn Bigelow and writer-producer Mark Boal (“The Hurt Locker”) for the story of history’s greatest manhunt for the world’s most dangerous man.
“Zero Dark Thirty” opens on December 19th, and stars Chastain, Kyle Chandler, Joel Edgerton, Mark Strong, and Chris Pratt.
