Apparently directors Luca Boni and Marco Ristori’s “Zombie Massacre” (with assist from the world-infamous Uwe Boll, who also co-stars as the President of the United States … of course) is based on a videogame. I have never heard of said videogame, but I’ll take their word for it. Mind you, not that it matters, really. Check out the latest trailer for “Zombie Massacre”, which features hordes of zombies, Tara Cardinal as a ninja chick, and what appears to be a super zombie. Super zombies, sheesh. Just when you think the regular zombies were bad enough, a super zombie goes and shows up and ruins everything.
I haven’t a clue what’s going on in this trailer, to be perfectly honest with you, but here’s a helpful little synopsis to get you caught up:
A bacteriological weapon developed by the US Government to create a super soldier – spreads an epidemic in a quiet little town in the middle of Eastern Europe. All citizens have been turned into infected zombies. The plan is to bring an atomic bomb into the city’s nuclear plant to pretend a terrible accident occurred. No one has to know the truth. A team of mercenaries is hired to complete the mission. The battle is on. Hordes of monsters against the team. WHO WILL SURVIVE?
“Zombie Massacre” also stars Mike Mitchell, Jon Campling, Christian Boeving, Gerry Shanahan, Daniel Vivian, and Carl Wharton.
Supposedly coming sometime in 2012.
