Newton, Gruffudd in Oliver Stone’s W.

Here’s the deal with Oliver Stone’s “W.” I’m not going to see this thing; not because I don’t agree with the politics, but because I’m not going to pay good money to see a rushed job, and this is what it’s looking like. Stone is so desperate to get this thing into theaters and embarrass Bush, that the film is flying through pre-production to get made and released in time for November. And when it hits, and becomes the wreck that I know it’ll be, it’ll be a joy to behold, so that’s why I’m covering it, including these latest additions to the cast: Thandie Newton (pictured, below) and Ioan Gruffudd (pictured, left) are joining the cast as Condoleeza Rice and British Prime Minister Tony Blair, respectively.

Oliver Stone has found the actress to play Condoleezza Rice in his upcoming “W,” with Thandie Newton in final negotiations to star as the National Security Advisor-turned-Secretary of State.

Meanwhile, Ioan Gruffudd is in final talks to play former British prime minister Tony Blair.

The duo joins a cast that already includes Josh Brolin as Dubya, James Cromwell as his pops, Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush, and Ellen Burstyn as Babara Bush. I hear they’re in final negotiations with the Devil to play Dick Cheney, but he might be busy with another movie right now.

Oliver Stone once again proves to be a pr!ck, a somewhat talented pr!ck, but a pr!ck nonetheless.

Why a Prick? Because he’s making a biopic about the Worst President in History?

What? You’d rather he include the Faux News parts about Dubya Walking on Water, Healing the Sick, Bringing Sight to the Blind, and being born from the still Virginal Barbara Bush?

Geez
