If life (and Hollywood movies) have taught me anything, it’s that nothing good can ever come from asking a guy in a three-piece suit for a favor, especially when he’s an old guy in a three-piece suit. But that’s apparently not going to stop Nick Fury, who is asking Robert Redford’s politician type in this latest clip from the Russos’ “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” Run, Nick Fury, run!

It appears whatever happens to Nick Fury in “The Winter Soldier” will have ramifications in ABC’s “Agents of SHIELD.” As you’ll recall, last night’s episode had Fury going “off the grid” and remaining there.

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier.

Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, and Emily VanCamp.

The Godfather will take your requests this April 4th.

Saw this last night at a preview. Marvel have started to finally get things right. Best of the films they have done so far and this film has ramifications for S.H.I.E.L.D and beyond.
    PS. 2 easter eggs!!

Never thought they did things wrong. Different from the comics but not wrong. I’ve loved most of the stuff they’ve put out, but glad to hear that this is much better.
