Nicolas Cage to Return for Neveldine/Taylor’s Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

“Ghost Rider” is one of those movies that I absolutely love to hate. The whole thing is a cinematic train wreck, from the piss poor CGI to the film’s sorry excuse for a villain. In other words, I watch it at least twice a year. The very notion that “Crank” directors Neveldine/Taylor would handle the upcoming sequel “Spirit of Vengeance” was an extremely good reason to get excited about the project, even if Cage wasn’t involved. However, his appearance last night (July 15th) on “The Late Show with Craig Ferguson” put all the rumors to rest. Like it or not, Nicolas Cage is coming back to the “Ghost Rider” franchise. As long as the film is balls-out insane. I honestly don’t have a problem with it. Honestly.

The boys and girls over at Twitch kindly posted the clip of Cage’s appearance, which I have carefully embedded below.

About Todd Rigney

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.
