Nightwing and the Teen Titans Movie is a Go

Nightwing and the Teen Titans are coming to a movie screen near you, reports the Hollywood Reporter. The team superhero movie has been set up at Warner Brothers, with Akiva Goldsman and Kerry Foster producing, and Mark Verheiden (”Timecop”) given the screenwriting duties. You might have seen the Titans in their own anime-inspired Cartoon Network series, but the team has been around D.C. Comics for a long time. Basically a junior version of the Justice League of America, the Titans consist of the respective sidekicks of A-list heroes Batman, Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Green Arrow.
The Teen Titans first appeared in 1964 as a sort of junior Justice League, comprising Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Wonder Girl and Speedy…
The comic series reached X-Men-style success in the 1980s, when the team was relaunched in a new comic with the characters no longer kids but college-age adults and the stories explored more mature themes. The series also saw the addition of Cyborg, Starfire and Raven, original characters who weren’t sidekicks, while the character of Robin matured into one called Nightwing.
I would actually prefer to see a more mature approach to the Teen Titans, the way they were handled in the ’80s, instead of the kiddie version of the ’60s, or even the current cartoon series. But of course they’ll probably end up doing a PG version of superheroes. If this thing gets done at all, that is. The Justice League of America movie was supposed to be coming for a while now, too. Likewise with the Watchmen movie…

This is my new input on the casting ideas Now I personally like wolfman work with kidflash, nightwing, cyborg, raven, starfire, and the changeling Now my casting for this film would be:
NightWing: Milo Ventimiglia or Jensen Ackles
Cyborg: Columbus Short or Lee Thompson Young
Kidflash: Cam Gigandet
BeastBoy: Shia LaBeouf or Jamie Bell
Starfire: Christina Milian
Raven: Jessica Stroup or Elisha Cruthbert
Now those are the people I think could pull this movie off perfect now I wish that cyborg could look how he was in Smallville and his arm could turn into a cannon then back to a human looking hand plus I really would want christina milian to play Starfire sence she already said she wanted the role as wonder woman in Justice League movie but didnt get the role but in this shes perfect sexy and is a good actor and every one else are perfect to if you seen them in there movies shia labeouf in transformers, lee thompson young in hills have eyes 2 and in Smallville as Cyborg, Columbus Short in Stomp the Yard and This Christmas , Jessica Stroup also was in Hills Have Eyes 2, Elisha Cruthbert in Captivity and House of Wax, and Milo from Heroes which said in a interview is dream superhero role would be to play particularly NightWing and could pull it off perfectly and Cam Gigandet from Never Back Down could pull off KidFlash also very well. So theres my casting opinions.
Oh brother. Why is it people constantly rationalize their casting choices as if it were for any reason beyond picking people they like? Christina Milian? Elisha Cuthbert? Shia LaPuke? Cam Gigawhat? *ack* That physically hurt to read.
what is wrong with you people. Can’t you see Warner Bros. is taking advantage of our mentality to fill their own pockets? They don’t care about teen titans fans, or whether or not it’s going to be a good movie, they probably know diddaly squat about teen titans but see how super hereo movies like “BatMan” and “Spiderman” are huge box office sucesses and see this as an oppurtunity to enlarge their own bank acounts, at titans fans’ expense.They are going to get an overkill of pretty, famous but very untalented celebrities (who don’t know anything about T.T) and are taking advantage of titans fans to raise their own fame. The movie will be out of character and overdone. What will they get Jennifer Lopez to be Starfire? They did they same thing to the “BatMan” movies in the 90s, and finally the movies got so bad “Batman and Robin” became the laughing stalk of hollywood. I am so angry that Warner Bros. is taking something I really care about and are going to butcher it into anything big budget, sucky acting, hollywood suck fest. I guess you aren’t true Teen titans fans because you don’t see it too.
Don’t see the movie, fight the greedy big studio money hounds. If you are a true fan.
I would like to see Sophia Bush play Raven.

Tyra Banks would be perfect for Starfire. She’s tall, curvy, has the right skin tone, and looks good with red hair.
I think that Josh Hutcherson should play Beast boy, i mean they are both about the same age, crazy, and the same style.
