Ninja Assassin Clip: Rain vs. Sho Kosugi

“Ninja Assassin” has already come out, but our UK viewers won’t be able to see it until January 8, 2010. It’s a good film, and I really liked it. It’s actually one of the better action movies I’ve seen all year, and once the inevitable Best Of 2009 list goes up, it’ll definitely be on it. For those who haven’t seen it yet, Empire has premiered a fight clip from the movie. This is towards the end, with Rain’s Raizo having returned to his old stomping grounds and has one last obstacle to overcome — his adopted father (played by the legendary Sho Kosugi) who raised him and turned him into an assassin. This is part of their battle. Great stuff. And if you’re in the States and haven’t seen the film yet, and you like martial arts action, don’t miss it, go see it now. I promise, you won’t be disappointed. Plus, a lot of the action takes place either at night or in darkness, so the big screen helps.
