“Versus” director Ryuhei Kitamura’s latest, “No One Lives” is definitely one of those movies where you don’t know who to root for. Should you root for the clever, badass serial killer? How about the backwoods hillbilly clan that thought it was a good idea to abduct him and kill his girlfriend? Or, well, you could always root for “Silent Hill: Revelation’s” Adelaide Clemens I guess, but come on, that’s kind of a cheat. You always have to root for the Final Girl. Well, I don’t WANNA root for the Final Girl, dammit!

Anyways, this thing’s got horror franchise written all over it. Until then, check out a new, bloody Red Band trailer for Kitamura’s “No One Lives”, starring Luke Evans as the guy trying to ensure that the title of the movie is very accurate.

A ruthless criminal gang takes a young couple hostage and goes to ground in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. When the captive girl is killed, the tables are unexpectedly turned. The gang finds themselves outsmarted by an urbane and seasoned killer determined to ensure that no one lives.

“No One Lives” also stars Lee Tergesen, Laura Ramsey, Derek Magyar, Beau Knapp America Olivo, WWE Superstar Brodus Clay and Lindsey Shaw.

Opening in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Philadelphia, Miami, Boston, Detroit, Houston, and Baltimore this May 10, 2013. More locations are expected to be added.
