Director Noburu Iguchi’s latest live-action head game “Nuiguruma Z” tells the story of a young girl and her teddy bear. Instead of hanging out, playing dress-up, and reading manga all day, they team up to battle legions of the undead. There’s also a handful of other villainous types lurking about, not to mention lots of hokey martial arts-related mayhem. In other words, it’s a Noburu Iguchi film! Celebrate appropriately.

Although the trailer is stuffed with tons of peculiar cinematic shenanigans, the clip doesn’t feature the filmmaker’s penchant for ass-related imagery. Apparently even Iguchi needs a break from girlish Japanese backsides every now and then. After suffering through “Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead,” even I think need a breather. That was the high water mark for butt-oriented Iguchi flicks. Now it’s time to move on.

“Nuiguruma Z” opens in theaters throughout Japan on January 25, 2014. I suspect folks living in North America will get this thing on Netflix or Hulu Plus before long. I’ll definitely keep my eyes peeled for it. In the meantime, let’s focus on the trailer you see embedded below. It could break your fragile brain, so approach with caution.
