Marvel and Disney have released an official announcement for the upcoming DVD/Blu-ray release of “The Avengers” on September 25, 2012. The film will arrive on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and On-Demand. Marvel will also launching an all-new App in July called “The Avengers Initiative: A Marvel Second Screen App” that will give fans “unprecedented access to exclusive content building up to the home entertainment release.”
