Official Synopsis for Justin Lin’s The Fast and The Furious 6

It’s looks like Justin Lin’s latest “Fast and Furious” movie (part six, in case you’re keeping track at home) will officially go under the title “Fast and Furious 6″, in case you’re wondering. Too bad. I was starting to warm up to “Fast Six”. Oh well.

Anyways, besides that confirmed title, Universal has also officially released a full synopsis for the movie, and for the first time, we finally know what Dom and company will be doing in Europe:

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of all-stars as the global blockbuster franchise built on speed races to its next continent in Fast & Furious 6. Reuniting for their most high-stakes adventure yet, fan favorites Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Elsa Pataky are joined by badass series newcomers Luke Evans and Gina Carano.

Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian’s (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin’s empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.

Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty (Rodriguez). The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.

So there you have it, the full synopsis for “Fast and Furious 6″, due out in theaters May 24, 2013.

Given that we’re hearing Lin is also shooting Part 7, I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that the “pardon” Hobbs is promising Dom and crew don’t actually pan out. I could be wrong, of course.

“Fast and Furious 6’s” trailer premieres this Sunday during the Super Bowl.

Love the F&F series, and i think this will be great, but the fact that they’re not happy being Rich and all makes it sound like “Fast Five” was all for nothing!!!

  • Juggernaut

That sounds dope! F5 was a great ride, can’t wait!

  • Pinakin

I seriously hope that they work out Lucas Black character from Tokyo Drift in to F&F7 ..maybe make the story happen after Tokyo Drift timeline where Sung Kang (Haan) is killed…and let the Sean character replace him in the outfit…would not mind seeing Nathalie Kelly in micro skirts again either…but I think linking Tokyo Drift and getting the Sean character would really complete the series..

    • Dedpool

It’d be a good way to end it. So basically when Dom shows up at the end it’s to see what the new kid has and recruit him. The circle is now Complete!!

      • Eagle Eye

That would be really awesome, always wanted to see how Sean (Lucas Black) would interact with the whole Group…

        • Pinakin

Yes…my idea for the F&F 7 is…when at the end of tokyo drift..Dom meets Sean..he wants to know how Haan died…then Sean and we get to know that basically Haan was back in japan and working for the yakuza and paying them because he was on the run and hiding and taking protection…for whatever went down in F&F 6..since Hobbs plan didnt work out and everyone ended up on the run and in more danger…and that’s why Domis in japan to see Haan coz he has a final plan to get them all out and safe…when Sean learns about that, he wants to get in the team just for the adventure and thrill in place of Haan…Dom and team do not want a stranger and a young kid..but reluctantly agree when they realize they are one person short and that Sean was mentored and taught by Haan..then they can have one final grand scheme..where Sean proves useful..and everyone pushes their limits for one last shot at money and freedom….
It would be interesting interaction between Dom and Sean..because they have the most important thing common between them..that’s both use their Dad’s modified cars.
Damn I may have just return the storyline for F&F 7 :)

          • Eagle Eye

That is actually a rather sweet storyline you got there ;)

You should write a script for it, it should be pretty awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          • Dedpool

I like it.Hold that down til F&F 6 comes out to see if it fits.
