Old and New Collide in First Posters for X-Men: Days of Future Past

Check out the first posters for Bryan Singer’s upcoming “X-Men: Days of Future Past”, which, like the movie itself, is a merging of the two “X-Men” franchises — the Singer “X-Men” movies and the Matthew Vaughn “X-Men: First Class”.

The cast and crew of “DOFP” were at Comic Con this weekend, but since apparently they didn’t say or offered up anything amazing during their panel, no one really covered it. Or at least, I haven’t read of any “Ooooh Ahhhh” coverage of the panel in the blogsophere. Maybe Marvel and D.C. can give Fox some advice on how to do a Comic Con appearance in the future. God knows the studio needs all the help they can get.

The film will star Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Evan Peters, Josh Helman, Lucas Till and Boo Boo Stewart. Basically, everyone except poor Famke Janssen. What up with that, Bryan?

The time-traveling comic book sequel is due May 23, 2014.
