Jack Black and Harold Ramis’ biblical-era comedy “Year One” just got a dose of major babeness, with news that “Turista” and “Alpha Dog” star Olivia Wilde will be joining the cast. Wilde’s character is Princess Inanna, the love interest of Jack Black’s character, one of those fantasies that can only happen in the movies.
Besides Black, Variety says the cast already includes Michael Cera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Oliver Platt, David Cross, Vinnie Jones, Juno Temple and June Raphael. Harold Ramis (“Ghostbusters”, “Groundhog Day”) will direct. Hollywood wunderkind Judd Apatow will produce.
Here’s a quickie plot for the film:
Two men wander through early civilization in biblical times.
Besides the movies, Olivia Wilde is currently plying her trade on Fox’s doctor show House, and before that, the cancelled gangster show The Black Donnellys.
