Let’s face it, if you’ve been dying to see Tony Jaa’s follow-up to “Ong Bak”, you’ve probably already seen it by now as an import DVD. But for those of you still waiting for the movie to finally land in U.S. theaters, your wait is almost over. The film has finally found a Stateside distributor in Magnet Releasing and Magnolia Pictures, and they’ll be releasing the film into a limited number of theaters on October 23rd, 2009. Check out the English trailer (no dialogue, just bone-crunching action) and new pics from the movie, which, according to the subtitle, is being sold as a prequel to Jaa’s “Ong Bak”, but truthfully, it’s not.

Bent on revenge, he joins a band of guerrilla fighters who school him in a dizzying array of martial arts and weaponry techniques before unleashing him on his unwavering mission to avenge his family’s murder.
Starring Tony Jaa, Sorapong Chatree, Sarunyoo Wongkrachang, Santisuk Promsiri, Petchtai Wongkamlao, and directed by Tony Jaa.
