Ong Bak 3 Teaser Trailer is Knee Cracking, Bone Crunching Goodness

In my post for the “Ip Man 2″ teaser trailer, I lamented the lack of Donnie Yen punching guys in the face really fast. Or action in general, actually. That … isn’t a problem with this teaser trailer for Tony Jaa’s latest, the sequel to 2008’s “Ong Bak 2: The Beginning”, titled, well, “Ong Bak 3″. Hey, originality in movie titles ain’t all that important when you’ve got guys bouncing between giant elephants kneeing people in the face, am I right? Check out the teaser for “Ong Bak 3″, which is a direct sequel to “Ong Bak 2″. Via YouTube.

The legend of Ong Bak 3 begins after Tien (Tony Jaa) has lost his fighting skills and his beloved stepfather at the Garuda’s Wing cliff from the raid led by Jom Rachan (Saranyu Wonggrajang). Tien is brought back to life with the help from Pim (Primrata Dechudom) as well as Mhen (Petchai Wongkamlao) and the Kana Khone villagers. Deep into the meditation taught by Phra Bua (Nirutti Sirijanya), Tien finally is able to achieve ‘Nathayut’. His talents are put to the test again when his rivals including the Golden-Armored King’s Guard (Supakorn ‘Tok’ Kijusuwan), the mysterious killers in black, and Bhuti Sangkha (Dan Chupong) return for the final massive showdown.

Starring Tony Jaa, Dan Chupong, Kessarin Ektawatkul, and directed by Tony Jaa and Panna Rittikrai.

Thailand gets it first April 29, 2010.
