The remake was too obvious, made too "easy to chew" and totally ruined by Tom Cruise's terrible acting! I loved the atmosphire, the style of filming and all the actors'performances in the Spanish version .It's a pity to see a masterpiece being ruined like this!! I would like the Americans finally realize that there are so many excellent filmmakers outside The USA and not be afraid to watch films with subtitles; reading isn't hard at all :) I’ve seen both versions and have to say that the original Abre los Ojos beat The Vanilla Sky in every aspect!
