Pacino And Pesci May Join Scorsese and DeNiro

It’s feels like some sort of mafia movie high school reunion. Deadline reports that Joe Pesci and Al Pacino are interested in joining “The Irishman”, which just so happens to be a project that Martin Scorsese and Robert DeNiro are working on for Paramount and Tribeca Productions. The degree of Pesci and Pacino’s interest isn’t clear, right now they’re hovering in that ‘likely’ zone. If this happens the results are sure to be mob-tastic.

Based on the book “I Heard You Paint Houses” by Charles Brandt the story follows the exploits of long-time Jimmy Hoffa murder suspect, Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran, who will be played by DeNiro. Steve Zaillion (“Schindler’s List”, “Gangs of New York”) wrote the script.
