Stoker (2013) Movie Poster

Oh, such a lovely family. The wife, the daughter, and the creepy uncle with mysterious (and some would say, sleazy) intentions toward the daughter. That’s just part of the charm of director Park Chan-wook’s Hollywood debut, the horror/drama “Stoker”. Take a gander at a new poster for the upcoming film below. Like I always say: it’s all fun and games until someone gets stabbed in the eye with a bloody pencil.

After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother Evelyn (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.

Starring Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, Dermot Mulroney, Jacki Weaver, Nicole Kidman, Lucas Till, and Alden Ehrenreich.

Stokin’ it March 1, 2013.
