Are you a fan of “Death Race” director Paul W.S. Anderson? What about Jude Law and Sadie Frost? If so, consider yourselves amongst the extremely lucky, as the much-maligned filmmaker’s feature debut “Shopping” is arriving on DVD and Blu-ray courtesy of the fine individuals over at Severin Films. From what I understand, the film was censored for over 15 years in Britain due to its extreme depictions of on-screen violence. Apparently, that doesn’t matter much anymore. Hoorah for moral declination! Oh, and pay no attention to the fact that it’s considered one of the worst British movies of all time.

Here’s what the film is all about:

In a bleak future, charming ex-con Billy (Oscar nominee Jude Law of Sherlock Holmes, Closer and Cold Mountain) and sexy girlfriend Jo (Sadie Frost, Bram Stoker’s Dracula) live for stealing fast cars, leading cops on high-speed chases, and crashing through posh store windows to steal everything they can grab. But when the law and a rival gang both vow to end their spree, can Billy and Jo pull off one final raid before their world comes crashing down?

“Shopping”, which stars Sadie Frost, Jude Law, Sean Bean, Jonathan Pryce, and Sean Pertwee, will hit DVD and Blu-ray on February 8th. Peep the official trailer below. Thanks to the folks at Quiet Earth for the scoop.
