You’re not alone! I love the movies too (tho I tend to keep them separate from the games). I didn’t care so much for the third one, so I really hope they do a fourth to bounce back with. =)

make the fourth one a flash back, into even before the first resident evil. Back the beginings of experimentation and the corruption!

You can’t end a movie like they did in the third one and tell us there might be a fourth one. They just need to get there s#!t together and give us an awesome conclusion to the franchise.

i agreed that they cant just leave the RE movie without a conclusion,a 4th one is definetly needed to let us know how it really going to end,im a huge fan from the games and also the movies so im looking foward for the 4th RE movie

they pretty much have to make a 4th one - that would be beyond lame to end the 3rd one the way they did.

also - it would be idiotic to focus on the Ali Larter/Claire character. Why? because all along we are being told that Alice is the key to saving the world - so what story would they tell about Claire? Her trip to alaska? Lame.

Give us a fast paced bang-em up ending to the the franchise.

i think the best way would be about claire…but show alice beating up all them computer dudes like wekser cause she said she was going to them..and bring carlos back cause he was my favouite character..like he could be like a good undea person and has flashbacks and remebers everyone..sorta like that nemesis when he dunt kill alice but them other people…!!! so thats it reallyy..but do it mostly on alice cause she is th best(except from carlos fo course+ i also loved nicholai from the seond one :D)

They should make the RE4 movie about the game,that would be hecka cool because the game was awesome.It would really bite if they didn’t.

i think u should make a 4th 1 i think all the movies were good…u shoulda make it either bout the game or how alice finishes unbrella corp but if u do that u should still add leon cuz hes the man but put claire n that other girl2 n there crew 2 c what happens wit them like u added michel epps n that dude from the mummy in2 the 3rd 1 n alice found them n helped them

When I saw the third one I thought it was ok considering I assumed it was in the middle of the series that was going to be followed up by a conclusion. To hear the possibility that there may not have been a 4th made me extremely pissed.

Dump all of the above and make it about Claire Redfield? In my opinion she didn’t have much of a part in the last one. At least it didn’t make me care for the character in the slightest. Not that I don’t like her, but she was just kind of there with no purpose really. Personally I don’t think the 4th movie would be any good (when/if they make one) if Alice wasn’t leading. Then again I’ve had the previous movies to fall in love with the character. I’ll admit I wont be as inclined to see it if they make Claire the new lead.

I agree I don’t know why they wouldn’t make a 4th one. The first three did well at the box office and they left the 3rd one open to it. VERY open. I figured the 4th one would switch between the survivors journey to Alaska and Alice’s journey to Tokyo.

I agree, I thought that the series would continue to Tokyo (woot!), but since Milla said she won’t come back for a fourth RE, they should at least bring back Sienna as Jill. I liked her. And definitely bring out Leon or something.

Hi im Riley i’m 14 years old and i have been playing the resident evil games for sometime now but what pissed me off about the whole resident evil movie series is that IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FUCKING GAME!the first resident evil movie was alright but nothing great, it had no real twists or a good plot unlike the game and all it is, is an action movie RE is about puzzles and clues and finding out more about the T-virus or the G-virus or the “Las plagas” now it would be pretty sweet if you could make the next resident evil movie ACTUALLY ABOUT THE GAME! so make it about leon and ashley like in RE4 the game and lord saddler and Sr.Salazar etc… AND DONT BE STUPID IF YOU END UP MAKING THE MOVIE BASED ON THE GAME ITS THE LAS PLAGAS PARASITE NOT THE T-FUCKING VIRUS but i just wanted the movie to resemble the game cuz GUYS IMAGINE LORD SADDLER AS A SPIDER LIKE WHEN U FIGHT HIM IN RE4 DIGITALY ENHANCED TO MAKE IT LOOK SWEET ON THE BIG SCREEN thats all i want is for the game and movie to resemble one another or at least make RE the movie a game… thats all :):):):):):):):)

In my opinion he shuold make a prequal with more game character an maybe he could have an idea how to make extition sequeal becouse he let empty information on the little girl and jill valentines apocalypse chapter no one knows what happen to them and it would be cool to see the distroccion of the world and he shuold put leon s kennedy, chris redfield, honk and most of all more screen footege of albert websker.

I like RE but rely why they didnt make it rely about the games cuz the games came out before the movies and alice u never even seen her before she just pops up in movie 1 then she becomes the star.

Hey all of the above are valid comments but the reason I think they haven’t really stayed true to the games in the movies is because at first maybe they didn’t want to just remake a game into a movie that nearly everyone has already played and knows how it ends. But now the Resident Evil creators have seen how much it has upset the fans that the Directors haven’t stayed true to the games that they fired the last director and now it’s a possibility that they might not make another movie unless they are sure the director will stay true to the games but I have heard a few rumors that there is in fact a Resident Evil 4 being made. But here is a few rumors I have heard (1)It is rumored that they’re holding auditions in Japan for the 4th
Resident Evil film (2)Sony has put R.E.4 on hold because

ive been conducting research on RE and rumors of the 4th movie.
as many know, RE: extinction’s orignal name was RE: afterlife.
as of august 23, 2008, the making of the fourth RE movie was confirmed by the director. and Afterlife shall be the title of he fourth RE.
location of shooting will be in both Alaska(following Claire’s character) and Tokyo(following Alice and her clones).
certain details are still unknown. but jill valentine’s character returns(she had a confirmed role in RE3 but turned it down to appear in Eragon) Carlos’ character returning rumors are crush since he died sacrificing himself(although he joked that he would return as a clone).
as i and many others await for the release of RE: afterlife, i plan to keep up with updates and incoming info.
