“Taken” is another action-adventure movie produced by Frenchman Luc Besson, who nowadays produces more movies than he actually directs — which, considering his last two movies (“Arthur and the Invisibles” and “The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc”), maybe that’s not such a bad thing. His latest is “Taken”, a kidnap flick starring Liam Neeson and Lost’s Maggie Grace.
A former spy (Neeson) relies on his old skills to save his estranged daughter (Grace), who has been forced into the slave trade.
Directed by Pierre Morel, and starring Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace (as a 17 year old!), and Famke Janssen. Written and produced by Luc Besson.
