Is “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane’s 2012 comedy “Ted” a touching family drama that’s sure to become this year’s most critically-acclaimed motion picture? Of course not. It’s about a walking, talking teddy bear that annoys the hell out its adult companion. Say what you will about MacFarlane’s output, but at least the guy sticks to what he knows.
“Ted” is built upon the following foundation:
Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish…and has refused to leave his side ever since.
The film, which stars Mila Kunis, Mark Wahlberg, Giovanni Ribisi, Patrick Warburton, Joel McHale, Seth MacFarlane as the voice of Ted, opens on July 13th, 2012. Feel free to investigate the poster below. It has a bear. Using a urinal. Comedy!
