You know what they say: You can’t keep an undead ghost army down. At least, not forever. Such is the premise for “Pulse 3: Invasion”, which picks up 7 years after the events of the first movie, with the human population having been driven out of the cities by ghosts are that using technology to breach the gap between the living and dead. Kinda like what my girlfriend’s mother does with the telephone, but I digress. The sequel follows a girl who goes back into the city (um, why?) and runs into that undead army we were just talking about above. Stupid girl. Here’s your DVD spec (such as it is) and cover art, including some ghostly images from “Pulse 3: Invasion”, invading DVD shelves December 23, 2008. Just in time for the yuletide festivities, too!
Nearly a decade after the terrifying events of Pulse 2 the dead still walk the earth — having entered our realm through electronic devices. Justine, raised with her fellow human refugees in the remote no-tech survivor camp, is now a 17-year old girl who dreams of the world they’ve left behind. When an abandoned laptop links her to a mysterious outside caller, Justine risks everything to see if life has resumed back in the forbidden city. More frightening than ever, Pulse 3 is an intense and shocking conclusion to the Pulse trilogy.
Starring David Addison Brown, Brittany Renee Finamore, Diane Goldner, and William Prael. Direct-to-DVD producer/director extraordinaire Joel Soisson writes and directs.
