Even if it's 2 years away, it's better that than being kept in the dark about it. I'm desperate to see a sequel and I loved the first movie, but the ending left me feeling like there's loads more of the story to tell. Get on with the making of the sequel already!! Regardless of the fact that you are incorrect about them being dead (and to be fair, you aren't the only one that came to that conclusion), they could easily make another Silent Hill film as the SH universe contains several stories. About 6 games' worth, actually. The second game in the series had a plot very much detached from the the first (and third, as the sequel to the first) and was likely to be the focus for a second film. While this may seem like "fanboi tears" (and probably is, seeing as the likelihood of a second SH film is rather slim and the likelihood of it actually being DECENT should it be made by someone other than Gans even slimmer), I felt it necessary to purge the sin from your wicked comments in the name of The Holy Mother...... now stop posting silly comments on the interwebz and GO PLAY SILENT HILL YOU FOOL!!!1one @ Jared – Quite the asinine statement, to be perfectly honest… and badly stated, at that.
