Rambo 5 Brings Rambo Home to America

Well, sooner or later we knew John Rambo had to come home, just as we knew that sooner or later, the powers that be would do yet another sequel to the franchise. But to be honest, we just didn’t know how soon they would do it. Nary a year has gone by since “Rambo” bloodied up cinemas everywhere, and Sylvester Stallone is already back, mullet and all (one presumes), to do “Rambo 5″, which would be set in Arizona, America, as indicated by the ending of the latest “Rambo”. So then why are they shooting this thing in Bulgaria?

A reliable contact for Moviehole, ‘KC’, informed us today that the next “Rambo” film will indeed be set in America – it’s just more cost-effective to do it in Bulgaria.
Says our scooper, “The street sets of Bulgaria that are getting the makeover, the same ones that were rented out and used in Van Damme’s The Shepherd, will be doubling for Rambo’s hometown, which is supposed to somewhere in Arizona.”
You know, just so long as Rambo doesn’t have to defend helpless farmers against land-grubbing ranchers/city slickers, then this is fine with me. But I got a feeling it’s gonna be like that. After all, how many plot can you come up with that has the hero in a desert town and not somehow make the villain a land baron or his contemporary equivalent?

Got a feeling that we might be treated to a rehash of the original FIRST BLOOD. Rambo might get fingered by the local sheriff, and all hell’s gonna break loose – a remake within a sequel.

I hope that Rambo5 is good, i liked the first, 2nd was okay, third i didnt care for.I liked the 4th one, please Sly dont mess this one up, take Rambo 5 with a bang and stop while your ahead.
It will be good. Anytime you have someone as badass as Rambo good things are bound to happen. However, I heard that Rambo finds out he has a daughter and she gets kidnapped by some religious cult. If this is true then that cult is pretty much done for.
I’ve a feeling this is going to be a emotional one. looking forward for Rambo!! Rambo 4 was great.
I can’t wait for RamboV and every one of them was awesome but my fave is Rambo4 hope5 is awesome
I still like the plot that was kicked around before the last movie. He gets called in to help some spec ops in afghan due to him having certain intel from his previous trip there. (III) When the chopper gets shot down and all the specs ops gadgets do not work. (Laptops, GPS, Comm…) He goes into full Rambo mode showing them how to really survive with nothing but his knife and bow and arrow. Insert main plot as needed. (maybe keeping with the daughter theme, they are going in to rescue his long lost daughter who was in the military and captured and they come find him to help the rescue team) Then they can maybe wrap the franchise with him going back to the states with a daughter and having a family.
