Ready for More Monsters in Space? Dead Space 2 E3 Game Trailer

I’ve never played Electronic Arts’s “Dead Space” game, but everyone who has has had nothing but nice things to say about it. It’s creepy, it’s atmospheric, it’s the best thing since those motorcycles with the pedals, where if you run out of gas, you can start pedaling as if you were riding a bike. You know, those things. Anyhoo, check out the E3 trailer for “Dead Space 2″, plus a nice, gross preview clip from the game featuring a monster called the puker, for obvious reasons. Yuck.

Isaac Clarke returns for another heart-pounding adventure, taking the fight to the Necromorphs in the follow-up to one of the most terrifying horror experiences in gaming. New tools to gruesomely slice and dismember the Necromorphs complement Isaac’s signature Plasma Cutter, empowering him as he meets new characters, explores epic Zero-G environments, and fights against a relentless Necromorph onslaught. This time as the terror becomes catastrophe, and engineer will bring the terror to space.

Wanna play it now? Forget about it. This bad boy isn’t dropping until January 25, 2011. But you can still pre-order it now if, you know, you really, really want to wait.

First game was good, had a good mythology, and the prologue-esque anime was pretty good too. It was a pretty tense game as dismembering foes was the only way to truly kill them. It sounds easy, but when they're runnin at you in groups and you trying to cut heads and legs and stuff off it gets hectic. This looks like a reutrn to form and man is it creepy.
