If you’ve seen HBO’s “True Blood” TV show, you might have figured that there could easily be something between its two leads, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, who plays the human waitress and her lover vampire, respectively on the show. Apparently the “relationship” has taken place off-screen as well, as the two are now engaged to be married, and now according to Dread Central, have signed up to star in a new horror movie called “Open House”.
The film, which will co-star Tricia Helfer, Rachel Blanchard, Brian Geraghty, Jessica Collins, Larry Sullivan, Gabriel Olds, Gerald Downey, and Mia Riverton, is written and directed by Andrew Paquin (aka Anna’s brother), and will star Paquin and Moyer as a wealthy couple trapped in a strained marriage who host an open house in order to sell their home. They are horrified to find out days later that one of their potential buyers never left with the others. Insert dum-dum-dum-duuuuuuum score here.
“Open House” will mark the directorial debut of Andrew Paquin, and depending on what happens to the happy couple in a few years, will either be a curious foreshadowing event (i.e. married couple with bad marriage looks to separate) or just another movie for the happily married couple. Hey, it’s possible to be happily married and work together in Hollywood, it just ain’t, you know, normal.
