Relativity Media’s version of Snow White, aka “The Brothers Grimm: Snow White”, has found its prince in “The Social Network’s” Armie Hammer, who joins the previously cast Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen. Still uncast: Snow White and the seven dwarfs that she teams up with in order to take back her kingdom from her evil stepmother the Queen.
Relativity’s version of the Snow White tale is not to be confused with Universal’s “Snow White and the Huntsman”, or that other Snow White movie with the kung fu fighters, which may or may not be dead at this point.
With Universal’s version previously ahead before they lost Viggo Mortensen as the Huntsman, Relativity has the perfect opportunity to get their version into theaters first, with production set for May with Tarsem Singh (“The Fall”) directing.
