Robert Downey Jr., Iron Man 3, and Marvel Studios Hit up Comic Con

Marvel Studios sure didn’t make their visit to this year’s Comic Con a wasteful one. Besides releasing those official movie logos (and one concept artwork) for their upcoming titles, they also brought over the cast and crew of the still in-production “Iron Man 3″. Apparently there were some footage from the movie shown in, of course, Hall H, but alas, that’s not included in this media package.

What you do get, though, is Robert Downey Jr. totally diving head-first into the Comic Con experience and lots of photos of the “Iron Man 3″ cast and crew, including RDJ, Don Cheadle, and director Shane Black holding a panel, press, and pressing fan flesh. (Edgar Wright also shows up at the panel in Hall H…)

There has been a noticeable lack of leaked footage from Comic Con this year. This could be because the studios and networks are releasing the same footage they’re showing at these panels almost instantly after the panel wraps. Either/or, or perhaps both.

“Iron Man 3″ is up next for Marvel in 2013.
