Wait, wasn’t I just posting about Channing Tatum in a new “White House Down” poster? I guess I was. Well I should have waited, because hours after I did that, the studio released the first trailer for the Roland Emmerich-directed film. The action for this thing takes place mostly in and around the White House, but if this trailer is to be believed, Emmerich still found ways to bring his brand of mayhem to the rest of the country, too. Gee, thanks, Roland.
Check out your first look at “White House Down”. With Hollywood’s sudden newfound need to blow up the White House, you’d think a Republican was in office or sumthin’.

Now, with the nation’s government falling into chaos and time running out, it’s up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.
