Diary of the Dead was a good movie, I think I liked it better than most others…. It gave you more of that anticipation you need in a movie like this. At some moments you got that feeling that it was your point of view.. I hope this next one follows in the same aspect.

I will admit: Diary of the Dead was a good film. It took a little to get into how it’s filmed (no worries as it’s NOT a la Cloverfield-shaky-what-is-going-on-filming) with 1 of the Characters holding a camera. You get the spooks, chills and some great acting. The Gore isn’t everwhere, but it does feel real. I’d recommend it.

I was very disappointed by “Land”. I know George was never all that subtle with his themes, but by God, I felt like I had been run over by the Theme Truck after leaving the movie. The heartbreaking thing is, I don’t know what George WOULD do if he didn’t keep doing zombie films.

“Land of the Dead” actually more than doubled its production budget, so it wasn’t a bomb, but really, more zombies, Mr. Romero. God, I love and worship this man, but enough’s enough. His immense talents should really be placed somewhere’s else, for God’s sake.
