Rupert Grint Heads Off to War in the Norwegian War Flick Into the White

What happens when adversaries find themselves trapped inside a secluded cabin in the middle of a harsh Norwegian winter? Friendship, of course! Director Petter Næss’ “Into the White”, which stars Rupert Grint, Florian Lukas, and David Kross, looks solid enough, even though the core premise isn’t anything overwhelmingly original. Still, it’s nice to see Grint stepping out of his comfort zone for a change. The guy’s got talent to spare, so it’s nice to know he’s putting it to good use.

I believe than an official synopsis is in order:

English and German pilots shoot each other down, and later find themselves at the same cabin. In order to survive the tough winter in the Norwegian wilderness they have to stand together. It’s the start of a long and unlikely friendship.

“Into the White” opens in Norway on March 9th, 2012.
