Russell Brand is Too Busy for Pirates 4

Russell Brand is the funniest British comedian to ever walk the Earth. Or at least that’s what the dozen or so commenters in my previous Russell Brand article would like me to know, right after they insult me. Cause, you know, nothing convinces someone more than insulting them into agreeing with you. So the last time we heard from him, Brand was being rumored as playing Jack Sparrow’s brother in the latest “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie. Still so? Probably not so much.
Via WENN, the hilarious Brit comedian tells Access Hollywood (probably in a very funny voice, cause, you know, he’s brilliant and junk) about the rumored role:
“There’s been some talk of doing a Pirates movie. But, I’ve got eight other things to do including (new movie) Get Him To The Greek with Judd Apatow… So I don’t know if there’ll be time to be a pirate, I’ve got enough of that in me private life.
“I think it’s a possibility (but) I am rather busy.”
Gosh, and I was so looking forward to wallowing in the genius of Russell Brand in the “Pirates” movie, too. Now all I’ll have to look forward to is Jack Sparrow’s effeminate antics and, if I’m lucky, Elizabeth Swann’s healthy cleavage. That is, if they somehow convinces her to come back. I hear the fourth part is all about Jack, though, brother or no.

When I heard he may be cast as Jack’s brother in POTC4 my initial reaction was “What the f*** !? He can’t act for shit! His act would make this film s|t|ink.”

good ole russ, he is like marmite, you either love him or hate him… we are very proud of him over here though, he has done exceptionally well for an old fashioned victorian gent. Good luck Russ, pirates or not. (Although it would be excellent if you did it).
