If you’re a fan of “Blood: The Last Vampire” and was a tad concerned about there being no U.S. release date for the film, don’t fret. Word from Horror-movies.ca is that U.S. distributor Samuel Goldwyn Films has purchased the rights to release the film Stateside. At the moment there isn’t a release date, but that should be forthcoming soon enough.
A vampire named Saya, who is part of covert government agency that hunts and destroys demons in a post-WWII Japan, is inserted in a military school to discover which one of her classmates is a demon is disguise.
The film’s tagline is: “Where evil grows she preys.”
“Blood” will hit UK theaters June 12, Japan on May 29, and visit the French on June 17.
Chris Nahon directs South Korean actress Gianna Jun’s first English-language film. The movie co-stars Allison Miller, Masiela Lusha, Liam Cunningham, JJ Feild, Koyuki, Michael Byrne, Colin Salmon, and Andrew Pleavin.
