Sarah Michelle Gellar Can’t Wait to Play with Herself in COD Black Ops Zombie Map

And, um, I can’t wait to play with Sarah Michelle Gellar, too, but unfortunately since I’m stuck with a PS3, I’ll have to wait until the Playstation Network finally makes their gazillion nerds with PHDs that they have at the corporate office solve their little “outage” problem first. Oh well, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for…

Anyways, Sarah Michelle Gellar is one of the playable characters in Treyarch’s new “Escalation” DLC map pack for their “Call of Duty: Black Ops” zombie level, along with “A Nightmare on Elm Street’s” Robert Englund, pissed off Mexican Danny Trejo, and pissed off white dude Michael Rooker. Basically, instead of playing another soldier, you can step into the dude you played Freddy and kill some zombies.

Here’s the former “Buffy” star talking about being involved in the game. Man, it’s been ages since we’ve seem SMG on the small or big screen. Here’s hoping she makes a comeback real soon.

May be a while Nix. The group that hacked them has already said, as soon as they go back up they’ll do it again. It may be that the only way to avoid this is to finally make PSN a pay network. They’d be able to hire people to actually monitor the servers full time. This is what I’m hearing from my friends in the gaming community (some of which work for companies not just play games) hence XBOX Live not getting seriously hacked. I say go for it, just make it cheaper so you’re still being competitive.

Worst aspect of this for me is that it’s keeping ostensibly non-PSN content like Hulu and Netfliix streaming from running on my PS3. Even after a decade of message board views, it never fails to surprise me how the internet has brought out the worst of the 5-10 percent that make it hell for most everyone else

Erick, Netflix still works. It’ll ask you go log into the network. Say ok. It says it’s down, you’ll get into the Netflix menu but then it’ll do it again and you say ok, it says it’s down and then bam you’re in Netflix. Let me know if it works for you.

That’s what was going on exactly up until middle of the day Saturday. However since then, I got an additional PSN logon prompt after I chose the show/movie, and after the notice that PSN is down, I get a brand new prompt telling me that it’s unable to retrieve the show. It’s more frustrating that it WAS working and this started happening on top of other PSN issues.
