Scarlett Johansson Really Enjoys her SodaStream in New Commercial

Scarlett Johansson SodaStream Commercial

This is, uh, the “uncensored” version of a SodaStream commercial that Scarlett Johansson starred in, and that’s set to run during Super Bowl Sunday this week when the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos kick the pigskin around for a ring or some such.

Apparently there was some controversy with this commercial. I don’t see it. I mean, Scarlett keeps her clothes on the whole time!

Turns out, the sticking point is that Fox didn’t want the commercial to reference Coke and Pepsi at the end there. I hear a few seconds had to be snipped to take out the references. And here I thought it was the sight of an attractive woman almost making love to her straw that was the issue. Guess not.

So what’s SodaStream? Some kind of concoction that you throw in water and drink, apparently. Or something.

I consider Scarlett to be an “A-list” movie actress – am I wrong? BUT, you never see any A-list movie actors or actresses doing commercials in the prime of their careers. Sure, you see TV actors/actresses doing commercials. I am confused as to why she did a commercial at all.

Super Bowl commercials are a different beast, I think.

I wouldn’t say Samuel L is in the Twilight of his career, and he’s the Capital One spokeman. And what about the Time Warner commercials where people were rerpsing their roles, or showing up in people’s houses? The one with Deniro, then their was the one based on Homeland, etc. A-list

I love Samuel L. Jackson. BUT, that guy does so many movies per year. Some goes straight to video. Even though I am a big fan of his, I have no issues saying that Samuel L Jackson does it all for the money. That guy seems like he’ll do whatever if the price is right – nothing wrong with that of course. He is an actor and he gets paid to act, so I am not knocking him at all.
