Scarlett Johansson’s Under the Skin Finally Gets Going

Let’s face it, what warm-blooded male doesn’t like the idea of Scarlett Johansson playing an alien disguised to look like the perfect woman who goes around the country snatching up hitchhikers and doing, uh, things to them?

Well if you fall into that category, here’s good news for you: her starring role in “Under The Skin” is set for a late Spring start date, with Johansson scheduled to play “an alien on Earth, disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman. She scours remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snare human prey – her voracious sexuality.”

Jonathan Glazer (“Sexy Beast”) is directing from a script by Walter Campbell and Michel Faber, who wrote the original 2000 novel.
