Sci-Fi Epic Outlander Images, Official Site

The guys over at Bloody-Disgusting ran across the official site for the upcoming sci-fi/action epic “Outlander”, which has such a cool premise that I’m dying to see it just to see how they unfurl the premise alone, nevermind how good (or bad) the rest of the movie is. I can’t help it; I’m a sucker for high-concept movie ideas. On the “Outlander” official site, there are some movie stills, concept arts, behind-the-scenes videos, and other assorted goodies. During the reign of the Vikings, Kainan (Caviezel), a man from a far-off world, crash lands on Earth, bringing with him an alien predator known as the Moorwen. Though both man and monster are seeking revenge for violence committed against them, Kainan leads the alliance to kill the Moorwen by fusing his advanced technology with the Viking’s Iron Age weaponry.

“Outlander” stars James Caviezel, Sophia Myles, Jack Huston, Ron Perlman and John Hurt, and is written and directed by Howard McCain. No release date has been set yet.
