Well, I guess it wouldn’t actually be impossible, would it? Hard, I guess, but probably not undoable. That’s what they should call the movie, by the way. “Undoable”. Since, you know, they haven’t come up with a title for this movie yet. Or at least, one they’re willing to share with the rest of the world.
In any case, “Act of Valor” and “Need for Speed” director Scott Waugh has signed on to stay within the Dreamworks fold, and will direct the untitled heist film for the studio and producer Steve Zaillan.
Written by “Con Air’s” Scott Rosenberg, the film will follow “a man who needs to pull off a seemingly impossible job and recruits his brother, who is described as being off the rails.”
Waugh, of course, made his bones on “Act of Valor”, the film that starred real-life and active-duty Navy SEALs, which accounts for its totally badass, almost Reality TV-like veneer. His upcoming “Need for Speed”, based on the videogame franchise of the same name and starring Aaron Paul, opens next year.
