Review of the Latest G.I. Joe Script

Those sneaky boys over at Latino Review have nabbed yet another copy of the “G.I. Joe” movie, and they have a review of it on their site. This is apparently the version of the script (written by Stuart Beattie) that will be used in the forthcoming movie to be directed by Stephen Sommers, starring Ray Park as Snake Eyes. And, um, other people, too.
So what’s the verdict in a nutshell?
A FUCKING MASTERPIECE AND A LOVE LETTER TO G.I. JOE FANS! A+
THE THIRD SCRIPT IN THE TRILOGY IS THE FUCKING BEST! HENCE THE $170 MILLION GREENLIGHT!
THIS SCRIPT IS ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING I WANT TO SEE IN A G.I. JOE MOVIE!
Hmm, I’m not sure what he’s trying to say, but I think he kinda likes it. Maybe.
You can read the entire script review for yourself here. It’s heavy with SPOILERS for the first act, but nothing after that. The guy, a real Joe nut, really liked the script, so that’s a very good sign.

Thank God! This is great news.
Ummm, this is the same turkey who claimed that the Transformers (Michael Bay) script was “A+++++!!!!” El Mayimbe is a hack who just sucks studio c**k. If he says this script is the greatest it could be, that just means it’s full of FAIL.
They also looooved the infamous REX GI Joe script, where Duke’s friend Rex was genetically altered into Cobra commander by Destro and “Dr. Bender”
That script also featured Snake Eyes and Scarlett going to couples counseling.
This is frickin’ GREAT news!!! I do have a question though. Who did the drawing of Snake-eyes with the american flag draped around his shoulder? It is driving me crazy, and I can’t find a larger picture of it.
I sooooo can’t wait for this movie to come out.
@jakobe,
Are you talking about the small picture on top? That’s Frank Miller. He did a comic book cover for the G.I. Joe Dark Horse comics. Issue #1 if I’m correct.
