Seagal, Lohan, Alba, and DeNiro in Machete?

Wow, for a movie that’s probably not going to be seen by a whole lot of people outside the fanboy community, Danny Trejo’s “Machete” is sure piling up the big-name cameos. Okay, so calling Lindsay Lohan a big-name cameo is a bit of a stretch, but how about Robert DeNiro, Jessica Alba, and, er, how about DeNiro and Alba?

According to this quick little tidbit from Variety (towards the bottom, once you get pass the boring industry stuff), supporting players for the exploitation-themed Robert Rodriguez-produced movie will feature supporting roles by Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Steven Seagal, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Don Johnson and Jeff Fahey.

Wow, Steven Seagal.

Anyways, the movie will star Trejo as one pissed off Mexican (just look at that poster above) who comes to the States to take down a white villain. It’ll be directed by Rodriguez protege Ethan Maniquis, with Rodriguez probably helping out here and there. Pretty much it’s a movie no one outside of the fanboy community will see, but one can only hope Rodriguez is able to convince Lohan and Alba to get sleazy for the movie. Okay, convince Alba. It won’t take much to convince Lohan, I’m sure.
