Sean Patrick Flanery’s Sunshine Superman

What is “Sunshine Superman”? Besides being an awfully cool title for an “I am Sam” sequel, I have no idea, but it sounds keen enough to post about. (Yes, I still use words like “keen”. What of it?) Besides starring BeyondHollywood.com favorite Sean Patrick Flanery, the film also marks his directorial debut, and is scheduled for a 2008 release. Here’s what little plot description I could find on the film via IMDB.com: “A grand love story that can only happen in that vortex in ones life when they are neither too young to reason, nor too old to dream.” Not a whole lot there. More from the film’s Myspace page:

Have you ever met someone that moved you so much, that you kept on going?

I met the most perfect person in the history of perfect people, or in the history of ever for that matter. She was today, she was tomorrow, and she was yesterday. She was the catalyst for my ideas, my secrets, and all of my dreams. I was eight years old, and I remember the day that I met her, not like it was yesterday,……but like it’s today.

A grand love story that can only happen in that vortex in ones life when they are neither too young to reason, nor too old to dream.

So basically a drama, maybe romance. We’ll see when there is something to see.
