Second Trailer for The Happening

By Nix | February 15, 2008 (11:20 am)

Here’s my guess of the plot twist for M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Happening” — it turns out to be the work of God, ala The Rapture, and that all the sinners are the ones jumping off buildings and going ka-splat. Then again, it could be aliens, or mole men from the center of the Earth. Who knows what Shyamalan’s cooked up. In any case, a second trailer for “The Happening” has arrived online.

A paranoid thriller about a family on the run from a natural crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity.

From the trailer, it appears Mark Wahlberg doesn’t get to punch or shoot anyone. What a gyp.

I have heard about what the movie is about through my sources and found out that this movie is not a work of God, aliens, or the government, or the terroists. In the previews it starts out by saying where are all the honeybees going and why are they dying. Well the enviroment, plants and trees, release neurotoxins that mess the people and animals up by going through the three stages: 1. loss of speech 2. physical distortion 3. FATAL , the last step causes people to commit suicide and that is how all the people r dying.Thats why people are jumping off buildings, feeding themselves to rabid dogs, getting under a lawn mower, hanging themselves, and stabbing themselves (as seen in the movie with the two women on the park bench). That is what i heard and i am excited to see this opening thriller.
