Nell Sweetzer is back in “The Last Exorcism Part 2″. And if this movie makes as much money as the first one (or almost as much) when it opens in March, you can expect to see Nell back in “The Last Exorcism Part 3″, and so on and so forth. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, either — that’s just how it is with horror movie franchises. To complain about it is to be just plain silly.
Anyways, here’s a new, much shorter trailer for “The Last Exorcism 2″. The first, longer trailer can be found here.
Continuing where the first film left off, Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell) is found terrified and alone in rural Louisiana. Back in the relative safety of New Orleans, Nell realizes that she can’t remember entire portions of the previous months—only that she is the last surviving member of her family. Just as Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her is back with other, unimaginably horrific plans that mean her last exorcism was just the beginning.
Starring Ashley Bell and a bunch of other people who are not Ashley Bell.
Ed Gass-Donnelly directs the sequel, due in theaters March 1st, 2013.
