Second Trailer for Twilight

The first teaser trailer for Catherine Hardwicke’s “Twilight” was all about setting the mood and establishing the world of the vampires and the burgeoning relationship between Bella and Edward. This second trailer seems to be about introducing the movie’s villains — a blond guy with fangs. Who likes to play baseball, apparently. Uh, I don’t know, I’ve never read the book, but the scenes here will probably make sense to the legion of “Twilight” fans out there. I have to admit, the film actually looked original when I saw the first trailer, but it’s looking a little familiar after the second trailer. Standard bad-vampire vs. good-vampire with cute high school teen caught in the middle, perhaps? Of course, I could be wrong.

In the film, a teenage girl played by Kristen Stewart risks everything when she falls in love with a vampire played by Robert Pattinson. Much teen angst and romantic forlorn stares ensue.
