Second Upstream Color Teaser Trailer Continues to, well, Tease

Amy Seimetz and Shane Carruth in Upstream Color (2013) Movie Image

Apparently writer/director/actor/caterer Shane Carruth has been watching plenty of Terrence Malick movies between 2004’s “Primer” and his latest, “Upstream Color” (his first movie since “Primer”), because this second teaser trailer for “Color” screams “Malick”, especially the director’s recent “The Tree of Life”. Mind you, not that that’s a bad thing.

Give it a watch. I think it might intrigue you. (Or not.)

A man and woman are drawn together, entangled in the life cycle of an ageless organism.

Amy Seimetz stars opposite Shane Carruth, the two making up the “man and woman” who are “drawn together” in that “ageless organism” mentioned above. It also stars Andrew Sensenig and Thiago Martins.

In theaters (probably not any near you, unfortunately) on April 5th, 2013.
