Several Images and a Trailer for Brad Anderson’s Vanishing on 7th Street

Although I seriously doubt that any post-apocalyptic movie can top John Hillcoat’s thoroughly fascinating adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s novel “The Road”, I do think that director Brad Anderson’s like-minded effort “Vanishing on 7th Street” has the potential to give it a run for its money. The film follows the adventures of a group of survivors after a power blackout causes the world’s population to mysteriously vanish. The folks working diligently at Twitch have posted a slew of pics from the upcoming thriller, all of which have been carefully placed below. The only thing preventing me from getting completely on-board is the presence of Hayden Christensen. My dislike of this guy really knows no bounds. However, seeing as how this is a Brad Anderson picture, I’m willing to cut the guy some slack. Once.

Investigate the images, then move on to the snazzy trailer embedded below. You can thank Shock Till You Drop for the clip.

Author: Todd Rigney

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at)
