I don’t think it’s too much of a spoiler to say that Rachel McAdams reprises her role as Irene Adler from the first “Sherlock Holmes” movie in the sequel, “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows”, right? Well, in case it is, then just pretend I never said anything and move on along.
POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW
In any case, apparently the film, which is set for this Christmas, has gone back for reshoots (don’t jump out of your panties; this is pretty routine), which includes Robert Downey Jr. dressed up as a Chinese man (we presume he’s undercover) and Rachel McAdams showing up as Irene Adler, the love interest from the first movie. Adler has been mostly replaced by the original “Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” Noomi Rapace in the sequel.
“A Game of Shadows” co-stars Jude Law, Noomi Rapace, Jared Harris, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Fry, Kelly Reilly, Geraldine James, and Gilles Lellouche.
